Hi everybody.
I’m thinking a fun project to do while we are waiting for our trucks would be to do a rendering of a mad max style interceptor cybertruck. I suck at that stuff but have some good ideas and I am sure many of you would too. Perhaps adding some crusty old solar panels or a multi fuel...
I like the functionality of an open back trailer. Lots of light and great versatility. The “cybertrailer” could be used as a sort of mini toy hauler for bikes etc. Very easy to load and decreasing the need for bikes, kayaks etc. to be hung off the trailer compromising the aerodynamics. This...
The Bruder style suspension seam to be the way to go. This would give the trailer basically the same height adjustability as the cybertruck. One other great feature is the ability to raise one tire off the ground, say if it gets a flat so the trailer could be towed at speed to a better location...
One way to make the trailer towable and as aerodynamic as possible is to make it similar to this design. The top lifts up when in use and lowers down while towing.
Love the idea of the Cybertruck autonomously driving to a pick up location. Imagine putting in your canoe up stream on a river for a multi day trip and the Cybertruck is is waiting at the take out location when you are done.
To increase solar charging picture a roll up awning covered in solar panels. This level of flexibility is almost doable today. Deploying the awning when parked could potentially triple your solar power.
GReat video.
You are right this is a unique building site.
I would love to see a Cybertruck off road test area built on site. Maybe with water crossings, hill climbing area etc.
Thanks guys for you informative reply’s. I would love to see Tesla come out with a dual motor with 500 mile range battery. I wonder if when parked outside if a standard plug in would be enough in this cold to keep the batteries topped up.
With the recent spell of cold weather we are getting here in the prairie province of Alberta I am wondering about how the cyber truck battery performance would be affected. Today we reached approx. -40 ‘C which is equivalent to -40’f.
Cold is an understatement. Many people would state your best...
To keep the interior, frunk and vault size the same will take a bit of work but could be doable. Decrease the dead space at the bumpers, tighten up the area where the tonneau cover goes, make the doors a little thinner without decreasing the steel thickness, same with the tail gate. I’m sure...

Check out this concept trailer. It has its own battery pack and electric motor drive. System is designed to ease the power consumption on electric vehicles while towing. Add to this a large rollable solar awning and...
All good looks.
Both Bruders have adjustable air bag suspension. Wonder if a trailer with it’s own battery bank could help extend the range. A solar charging awning could be used to increase the charge ability when camping.
