Interesting stuff. It's surprising not just to see the larger interest in the Rockies/Plains but to see much more interest in the Model 3 than a truck especially in the southern states where truck sales are strong.
This is my first too. I've been considering an SUV or extended cab pickup but don't want to drive something boring and generic. The Cybertruck seems to be the best of both worlds
This is a big one for me. While the design has grown on me a lot since the reveal a big unknown is how it will feel in the driver's seat.
Is anyone else waiting to test drive before they place an order (or deposit at least)?
My guess is given how unique and perhaps extreme the design is, even camouflage will not hide enough. The shape itself is a total secret which is so rare in this day and age of everyone who has a phone being an amateur spy photographer. It seems to be the plan all along as Musk has had to drop...
Rivian is unproven yet and who knows if/when we will actually see the R1T in owner hands. So far it's been a lot of puffery from EV startups and Tesla is still basically the only game in town.
The previous reveals were all live streamed tho I don't remember how far in advance that was announced.
I would be shocked if Tesla's first foray into trucks were not broadcast to the world and beyond. Musk is going to want to steal everyone's attention during the LA show.
Given the length I'd think tailgate only. It's a polarizing logo. I was hoping for something more simple and less matrix-y along the tailgate but I know Musk said they are going for futuristic cyberpunk so this fits the bill.
