No. Save yourself all that work and just put a chrome wrap on it. That way, when you realize that it's tacky and probably blinding other drivers, you can just remove it.
Teslas hold their value so well that leasing doesn't make much sense to me. I suppose it depends on your tax situation what makes the most sense for you.
I too would like to buy that combination. Not that I need the range (I live on an island), but having the biggest possible powerwall in my car would be nice backup when a hurricane hits.
Big battery plus solar option would be great.
Honestly I don't know who buys used Teslas. They hold their value so well that doesn't make sense to buy used. Other than not wanting to wait potentially years for something like the Cybertruck to catch up to demand. Of course.
You could just do a chrome wrap. Get a similar end result with a lot less work. Then you can peel it off once you finally come to the conclusion that it is tacky and blinding.
Please don't. I'm hoping that people will have forgotten about that by the time we get our trucks.
Do you really want people testing your glass in parking lots? I do not.
"The cybertruck absolutely will not drive Ford to bankruptcy."
This makes me recall how sure companies like Nokia and Motorola were that Apple could never make it in their industry.
Why imagine it painted? Paint sucks. Paint just gets chipped and sun fried. The lack of a need for paint is one of my favorite features.
Oh those are wraps? Nevermind. Carry on.
It doesn't really matter what we think. Tesla might crush it and get the tech to market early, but it doesn't really matter because who knows how long it will take to get gubment approval.
