I will be using it as a truck occasionally (hauling dirtbike and hopefully it will have good tie downs. And pulling a light camper (3k lbs) and the occasional dirt/building material in the bed) 90%+ of the time it will serve as a family vehicle.
I would like some knobs to turn. Good point on defrosting window. I hate using my defrost in my Volt because it reduces electric range. CT defrost may reduce range considerably?
I have a 20 year old excursion with a diesel (7.3) that is still running strong. Yes there is lots of maintenance but I would drive it cross country today.
I don't expect it to really last 1 million miles, but is 500k too much to ask for? Lots of examples of diesel trucks with 500+k.
My fear is that the motors will not be durable for truck use. This will be our family vehicle but serve truck duty from time to time. Pulling and hauling at least 2 to 4 times a month. The drivetrain needs to last!
60k (dual motor+ttl+autonomous driving) will be double what I paid for any vehicle I have ever owned. This is the cost of a small home where I live. I expect this vehicle to live long past the 8 years of battery warranty or the purchase will not be worth it to me. At first I thought wow a...
I believe you will have to go pick the vehicle up at the prearranged Tesla distributor. My friend drove roughly two hundred miles to pick his 3 up in Cincinnati. Or have it shipped.
Thanks. I am curious what the primary reason for others getting tri motor ? I think 0-60 in 2.9 in amazing but I would rather have Range!! I would rather have 0 to 60 in 10 seconds with 700 miles of range?. Contemplating changing to tri motor based on range alone. Dual motor with 0 to 60 in 4.5...
