Whether you should upgrade depends are your needs, wants and financial situation.

I find value in doing. The specifications and the single, double and tri are all amazing, in my opinion.

I am still on the double, did not want to wait another year for tri, before tri and single motor timelines swapped, and have not upgraded yet to the tri. While I do not need the tri, want high, I need the single but, wanted the double when the double was offered as highest in the first year.

I am kicking the tri decision down the road until I know the insurance delta. Need versus want, what is more important to you?

however, if all the tri’s get filled before the double, the need for instant gratification would make up my mind.

The big question, when the truck is a classic in 25 years, which combination will hold the most value?

Grandson appraising the truck, it is worth 37 million if your grandfather ordered the black instead of stainless steel. The SS is 1995.00 due to popularity and they are all still on the road.

I was in the same boat, so to speak. I ordered the RWD at first and recently upgraded to AWD dual motor with FSD. It is very easy on the Tesla website. I upgraded for several reasons. Something to consider is a dual motor will also have greater regenerative braking along with higher range. Resale value and the fact that FSD will most likely go up in price, possibly A LOT once it goes active and legal was important for me to lock in. Just something to think about.

I upgraded my Single Motor to a Dual Motor configuration today. I feel the base 2WD version will be just that, pretty basic. I want the all wheel drive, longer range, higher quality interior, alloy wheels, nicer sound system, etc.

Ontario! Of course you want the dual just for the winter driving:D.
I changed my dual to include FSD and registration number did not change. depending on how the Tesla stocks do I might consider uping to to Tri-motor.

Tesla stock closed yesterday at $1025.05. A new record for the company.
