Car cover? What’s you rationale behind that choice, given that the truck‘s not painted? Not necessarily the top 3 among all buyers but, because my CT will sit outside in the Florida sun, these are the 3 modifications I'd be getting:
1) depending on Tesla window heat barrier solution, extra Ceramic tint and an interior removable roof glass visor/ cover
2) a quality outdoor car cover
3) depending on Tesla wheel options, an aftermarket wheel and tire package to achieve a look similar to this:
Totally agree that sunlight, moisture, and “the elements” wreck weatherstripping on most cars. Hopefully Tesla can do some material engineering to reduce/eliminate the effectsPreserve the rubber bumpers, tires and window rubber from damaging UV rays.
Just like Mini2nut said above. I plan to keep this vehicle a long time, and while the Central Florida weather is excellent to prevent rust on any other vehicle, the constant UV exposure will deteriorate everything else but the Stainless over time. I'm fortunate to get to park in a parking garage at work ( that includes free stalls for charging BEVs) so I normally cover my daily driver on the weekend and exercise my other 2 that are garaged.Car cover?
